How do I cancel my HEY account?
We’re sorry to see you go!
You'll have two options — cancel your subscription or close the account immediately. If you decide to to cancel your subscription, you'll have full access to your HEY account until your subscription expires. If you decide to close out your account immediately, you will lose access to your HEY account right away.
- Head over to app.hey.com/accounts in a desktop browser and click the Export Your Data option. That’ll export your emails and contacts for your own records.
- On that same Account page, click the Billing & Invoices option:
- Click the Close your account option:
- Click the OK, cancel my subscription button:
- You can stop here if you want to continue using HEY until the subscription expires or click the OK, close my account button if you want the account to close immediately:
We’ll keep the account data for 30 days, before permanently deleting your emails, contacts, and attachments per our cancellation policy. We’ll hold on to your password, backup email address, and 2FA info so you can reactivate your account anytime in the future.
If your account recently renewed, you can reach out to our support team from your backup email address to request a refund of that renewal.
