Link your Google, Apple, or Outlook Calendar
Add a calendar feed to your HEY Calendar:
- Click the HEY logo, then 'Subscribe to an outside calendar' at the bottom of the menu
- Paste in your .ics feed URL and click 'Add subscription'
Here’s how to find the calendar .ics URLs in other services:
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- In the top right, click Settings Settings and then Settings.
- On the left panel, under “Settings for my calendars”, click the name of the calendar you want to use.
- Click Integrate calendar.
- In the “Secret address in iCal format” section, copy the link.
Important: Only you should know the Secret Address for your calendar. Do not share this address with other people. If you accidentally shared your calendar’s Secret Address, click Reset to create a new Secret Address.
Note: If you’re using a Google Account for work, school, or other organization, your admin might need to change the sharing settings for your calendars. If you can’t find the Secret Address, ask your admin for help.
Apple and iCloud
To find your Apple/iCloud feed, you’ll do this:
- Go to iCloud.com.
- Select the Calendar Icon.
- Select the Calendar name that you want to add to HEY.
- Click on the antenna looking signal icon next to the name, and a pop up will appear.
- Check PUBLIC CALENDAR on if it is currently off.
- Where it says Email Link, click on that and copy the link that it will automatically paste in the email that populates.
NOTE: You can add your Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars to HEY via .ics subscription. You cannot modify those calendars from HEY Calendar.
